Join CCHRA and Jonathan Segal at People's Light as we Discuss Critical Performance Management Conversations with Executives

Every HR professional eventually will have to facilitate or navigate a critical conversation with an executive about his or her performance.  It’s not as simple as telling the executive where performance has fallen short and what is necessary for improvement.

In some cases, the executive may have more organizational power than the HR professional.  In all cases, the power of the executive may result in the wrong things being said or key issues being omitted, even by the leader to whom the executive reports.

This programs provides 20 suggestions for HR to help maximize the value and minimize the risks in serious performance conversations with an executive.

We'll discuss:

1:  How critical performance management conversations with executives differ from such conversations with others

2:  Common mistakes and gaps in critical performance management conversations with executives

3:  The role of HR in preparing for and facilitating the delivery of a critical performance management conversation with an executive
